Through a peer-led response to harms associated with the chillout scene, SDC4ALL works to train a diverse cohort of queer peer mobilisers to offer harm reduction support in informal, party and chillout scenes where people might be having sex on drugs. Propel
Building on the incredible foundation of the four-year MAUREEN programme, from May 2026 The Love Tank moves into a brand new seven-year programme tackling deep rooted inequalities across London. Through Propel's Long Term Grant's Programme, we join up with dozens of sibling organisations to challenge head-on the inequalities faced by the communities we work alongside.
Learning over the first four years has reshaped our approach to this work, our work in partnership with Propel pivots to systems change work, transforming the systems, services and processes that impact our lives and well-being.
Our Systems Change Vision
Our ultimate goal for the next seven years is structural transformation. We want to build a London where queer migrants and queer people of colour are no longer pushed to the fragile edges of health and wellbeing systems. Instead, we are shifting the balance of power. We want to replace outdated models that view our communities merely as passive recipients of services, establishing them instead as the essential architects of equitable health infrastructures.
Rather than just making changes on behalf of our communities, The Love Tank's Propel programmes are designed to act as incubators - equipping, resourcing, and mentoring community members to become independent change-makers who can challenge systemic injustices and lead their own self-sustaining initiatives.
The 5 Core Communities
To ensure our work targets the most acute health inequities, the first cycles of this work will focus deeply on five overlapping populations, addressing specific priority needs identified by the communities themselves:
Queer Black Communities: Focusing on improving access to critical prevention technologies and vaccines
Queer South Asian Communities: Tackling structural barriers to vaccine uptake and prevention technologies
Queer Latin American Communities: Developing culturally and linguistically relevant sexual health and wellbeing services
Trans Migrants & Trans People of Colour: Improving navigation and direct access to vital gender-affirming care
Recently Arrived Migrants, Refugees, & Asylum Seekers: Breaking down administrative and structural hurdles to secure primary healthcare access
Our Model: Study, Plan, Do
To make this happen, we are embedding a cyclical health promotion framework known as Study-Plan-Do. This ensures our work is never extractive.
Study: We systematically listen to and map out the lived experiences and health needs of our communities through community knowledge generation events
Plan: We sit down with community members to collaboratively co-design tools, resources, and pathways
Do: We implement these solutions together - whether that means launching multilingual guides, piloting community-led vaccine points in trusted spaces, or training frontline NHS staff on anti-racist, queer-affirming practices
Working in Solidarity
Systems change is a collective effort. We are proud to deepen our ongoing collaborations with trusted sibling organisations, activists and allies. By working in tandem with grassroots networks, local NHS trusts, and queer nightlife venues, we ensure our interventions are rooted in trusted, real-world environments.
A Legacy of Change
What happens when we stop waiting for the system to change and start building the future ourselves? For the next seven years, we are committed to finding out. Our goal is to create a lasting legacy where queer migrants and queer people of colour hold the power, resources, and legitimacy to shape health systems from within. Whether you want to share your lived experiences, co-create a grassroots initiative, or simply find a supportive space to connect, we invite you to be part of this journey. Join us as we step into this new phase with Propel, let’s build a stronger, more resilient London together!

Intersections for Health Equity
Launched in July 2026, The Love Tank's Intersections for Health Equity programme aims to lead systems-change processes that challenge structural racism faced by Black, Middle Eastern, East Asian, and South Asian queer and transgender communities across England.
Intersections for Health Equity is funded as part of The National Lottery Community Fund's Health Inequities Partnerships.
The Love Tank plays two roles in the Partnerships:
Delivering a 5 year planned programme of activity within the communities we work alongside, focusing on the groups above
Contributing to the wider Health Inequities Partnership and its shared systems change ambitions
From the summer of 2026, The Love Tank launches that ambitious planned programme of work, putting those communities and lived experience right at the heart of the programme and its work.
