Multilingual online HIV PrEP sessions launcheD

The Love Tank's HIV PrEP programme - PrEPster - launches five new multilingual online information sessions during October, to assist with enrolment into new London online PrEP service.

The online PrEP service - funded as a pilot in North East London by Elton John Aids Foundation - offers the HIV prevention medicine through a fully online service. Those accessing the service do not have to visit a sexual health clinic but can still access online medical support if necessary.

Dr Leo Pavam, Head of Development and Outreach at The Love Tank says:

"The new online PrEP scheme offers the chance for a quick and easy way to access HIV PrEP without having to book a clinic appointment. The online information sessions we're running through October help potential users of the service to help navigate it, and ensure they are ready to start PrEP".

Asad Zafar, Outreach Coordinator at The Love Tank says:

"Many people who could benefit from PrEP in London don't have English as a first language. These multilingual online sessions offer a way for folks to come together and be supported in accessing online PrEP in a language they are most comfortable with".
